This 3 day course will cover all the necessary steps for designing a printed circuit board, from loading logic/netlist data through producing manufacturing/NC output. Learn about the user interface for Cadence OrCAD PCB Editor, which is the same as the entry level Cadence Allegro PCB Editor. That means your education stays with you as you upgrade your toolset.
» Construct design libraries
» Import logic design data
» Define design rules
» Interactive and advanced interactive placement features
» Swap gates and pins
» Route interactively
» Run automatic glossing
» Create copper areas
» Generate manufacturing output and documentation
» Customize OrCAD PCB Editor
The two-day OrCAD Capture schematic design workshop can be scheduled prior to this class. Attend both workshops and learn the schematic entry and PCB layout processes in one week.
Who Should Attend?
